A verified Twitter account revealed in November that the couple had plans to wed and start the family. Zendaya’s mother immediately confirmed the engagement announcement after it was reported repeatedly. While she didn't say something directly, she shared an unreadable message that contained a definition of the word "Clickbait.". The post came shortly after the engagement rumor. It is therefore being interpreted as a way to shut down the rumors.After reports of the engagement of Zendaya and Tom Holland began to circulate across the web. The mother of Euphoria's followed up with a mysterious post to the Instagram account. Zendaya’s mother Claire Stoermer shared a lengthy description of what is referred to as a 'Clickbait. Stoermer doesn't give the context for her post, nor did she specifically address the speculation about engagement. The post was made immediately following the engagement rumor started to be circulated. Therefore it was seemingly her way to address the issue.
