Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is the daughter of British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby (born in Paris) as well as Chris Watson (born in Paris). At the age of five years old when she left for Oxfordshire and enrolled in her first Dragon School. Emma was inspired to become an actor when she was six. For several years, she attended the Oxford branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts part-time school. There she learned singing, dancing and acting. They were cast as the three lead characters Hermione Gringer Harry Potter Ron Weasley. Emma's debut film was made with the release of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2002). It broke all records in the opening day sales as well as opening week-end take-offs and became the top-grossing movie of 2001. Film critics praised the film as well as the performances of the three young stars. The Daily Telegraph in Britain that is distributed widely, called her performance commendable. Emma later won five awards for her performance in the film.
